Step 1: Gather the Vintage Lyre
This quest will only activate while the Vintage Lyre item is equipped in your quick access inventory. Obtain this special instrument by searching ruined buildings in Vanarana‘s southwest region.
Open Precious Chests in this area until you secure the lyre. Having it readied is mandatory before the next steps.
Pro Tip: If no notes appear when you arrive at the activation pillar, you likely have the wrong lyre equipped! Double check for the Vintage version.
Step 2: Play the Notes
With lyre in hand, navigate west to the quest marker now visible by the mushroom forest edge. Interact with the tall pillar of light to begin the music trial.
Five notes will illuminate indicating the sequence to play:
Fa – Mi – So – Fa – Do
Carefully pluck out this melody with your lyre and the path will reveal itself when finished. Easy start so far…now the real test begins!
