Keep that left side in mind as you explore this sprawling room. There are also machines and tunnels in the southwest and northeast corners.

Retrieving the First Power Source

Walk across the bridge toward the main platform‘s center. There you‘ll see an orange diamond power source on the ground. Interact with it to pick it up.
