But I also understand the struggle many face trying to reap all the rewards these jungle domains have to offer. In this expansive 2,000+ word guide, I‘ll be providing everything you need to dominate day 1 with maximum efficiency solo or co-op!
Lost Riches Overview: Primogems Galore
Before jumping into Chatrakam Cave, let‘s briefly recap what makes this event so valuable:
Complete Daily Treasure Areas = Easy Primogems
- 14 treasure areas over 14 days
- ~60 primos per area
- 840 total primos up for grabs!
That‘s over 5 wishes towards your favorite 5-star simply for spending 15 minutes a day on a magical scavenger hunt! And with correct strategies, you‘ll slay enemies and secure chests in even less time.
Primogems aside, you‘ll also be bringing home mora, enhancement ores, talent books, ascension gems, and more. After two weeks, you‘ll walk away with enough resources to fully build multiple characters!
Now let‘s get down to business extracting everything we can. Today we begin in the jungles of Sumeru by Chatrakam Cave, marked on your second screenshot…
Step 1: Assemble Your Expedition Team
While any combination of characters can complete this treasure hunt area, I always recommend strategizing your squad to maximize both rewards and enjoyment. But I also understand everyone‘s roster differs depending on experience, luck, and preferences!
Here are two options that should crush day 1 assuming even modest investments:
Team 1: Tighnari Hyperbloom Trigger
Core – Tighnari Main DPS
Sub DPS – Fischl enables Hyperbloom reactions for crowd control
Support – Dori generates energy and heals
Anemo – Traveler or Sucrose to group enemies
Tighnari makes easy work dispatching single targets rapidly with his homing arrows. Paired with Fischl constantly applying Electro from Oz, his Dendro shots will trigger explosive Hyperbloom effects to wipe out mobs. Dori‘s elemental skill canTopLevelElement10TopElement heal and battery the team, while swirls from Traveler minimize danger.
I‘ve used this exact team with 4-star weapons and average artifacts to full clear floor 12 of the Spiral Abyss!
Team 2: Freeze & Shield w/ Kaeya
Main DPS – Kaeya
Sub DPS – Rosaria grants Crit Rate
Hydro Applicator – Xingqiu enables Freeze
Shield Support – Noelle protects the team
By combining Cryo with Hydro from both Kaeya‘s and Rosaria‘s bursts, Xingqiu‘s rainswords will constantly Freeze enemies in place for easy shattering. Noelle‘s sweeping Claymore attacks and shield provide defense and Geo resonance. Her healing from burst helps sustain as well.
I‘ve 36-star cleared Abyss using this exact freeze composition many times thanks to its comfort and damage!
Now those were just two team recommendations – feel free to get creative! Just remember to gear your characters appropriately and utilize amplifying reactions for optimal rewards.
Step 2: Gathering the First Orb Set
Let‘s begin our expedition! I‘ll walk you through each orb set while explaining extra tips and tricks along the way…
Orb Set #1 Details

Head south toward the dense batch of trees.

Climb the tall pine to grab the first blue orb resting in its branches. I recommend using an archer or catalyst user to snag flying orbs like these easily.

Coming down, you‘ll spot the second orb among the shrubs below. Beware applying Pyro here as dry grass can catch fire!

Finally, the third orb hides at the base of the largest elder tree a bit southwest. Burn brambles if obstructing your view.
With your first three orbs secured, the Trounce Domain will manifest! Time for your squad to power up…
Tip #1: Consume buffing consumables!
Before entering the domain, I always recommend utilizing potions, food, or Elizabeth‘s specialty Omni-Ubiquity Net to give your characters an extra edge in combat. Even basic ATK boosting dishes like Pepper Steak help accelerate clears. Resources used now will pay dividends saving time and HP!
Challenge #1: Bloom & Fungi Forces
Upon entering, you‘ll face an assortment of standard Sumeru enemies – Various Hounds, Fungi, and Dendro Samachurls. Lingering Poison Mist also blankets portions of the arena.
The key is identifying threats quickly and responding appropriately:
- Focus hounds first as their pounces deal heavy damage
- Interrupt samachurls casting vine walls for area denial
- Watch out for inflating floaty fungis about to explode!
Group up packs with anemo skills when possible to enable powerful AoE attacks. Your ideal damage rotation will wipe them out rapidly. Don‘t forget to weave in heals or shields if sustaining too many hits as well!
With the troops defeated, activate the Blossom of Wealth to fill your Seelie Meter and spawn Precious Chest #1! Our first reward of the day – congrats!

Step 3: Gathering the Second Orb Set
Orb Set #2 Details

From the Trounce Domain, glide downward toward the rocky outcroppings with water flowing through them. Nestled between is your next orb.

Descend farther west down the cliffside, burning away more brambles to open the view.

Hop across the mushroom platforms to reach the fifth orb. Remember to reposition the camera and watch your step!

Finally, head toward the waterfall cave and grab #6 behind the flowing waters.
With Set 2 finished, we move toward unlocking Precious Chest #2! Just one more remains…
Tip #2: Rely on Elemental Sight
Having trouble spotting an orb? Elemental Sight is your friend! Not only does it reveal the orb locations shining through objects, it also highlights enemy positions and attack telegraphs before entering the domain. Very useful for routing your battle strategy!
Challenge #2: Fungi Forces Emerge
Now for Trounce Challenge #2! Helping our Seelie snag the second orb batch aggravated even more mutated fungi:
While basic Fungi already explode violently on death, these advanced Mycellium varieties take damage inflation to another level:
- Dendro Fungi gain increased HP
- Hydro Fungi inflict Slowing Water debuffs
- Geo Fungi generate crystallize shields
My full elite team of Ganyu, Zhongli, Xingqiu, and Yelan with 5-star weapons still struggles without proper tactics!
The good news is you now know their mechanics. Here are the best counters for smoothly sailing through:
- Cryo characters to reliably freeze troublesome targets
- Pyroapplication to melt through health bars
- Overload to break Geo constructs more easily
As before, cleanse any slowing water debuffs quickly while rotating bursts to wipe out waves efficiently. Well timed dodges, staggers, and crowd control make all the difference!

Step 4: Gathering the Final Orb Set

Our last three orbs float around the cliffs:

From the second Trounce Domain, scale the hill and climb upward to discover your seventh orb above.

Coming down the northern face, carefully slide to the bottom, then drop again to reach the ledge below.

Follow this lower plateau west until you reach more fungal overgrowth and orb #8.

Continue west to the flowered marshlands. Nestled among the sporetrees lies your final objective.
With all 9 orbs claimed, it‘s time for the last stretch! All your hard work navigating summits and valleys pays off now…
Tip #3: Consider Co-op
If finding certain jumps troublesome or final combat too demanding, don‘t be afraid to recruit a co-op buddy for assistance! Having multiple elements to trigger reactions or simply more numbers to share aggro makes all objectives far smoother.
Final Challenge: Fungal Monstrosity
This ultimate showdown will test your dendro countermeasures and defensive tactics to the limits!
The Mycellium Teroclasta you‘ll be facing isn‘t just any common mushroom… This fungal freak towers over typical travelers with accelerated poison inflation and slap damage that cuts most HP bars in half!
Without proper strategy, your prized Precious Chest #3 will remain out of reach! But we won‘t let that happen…
Here is how our squad will show this mega ‘shroom who‘s boss:
- Cryo application to constantly Freeze
- Reliable cleanse for mushroom inflation poison
- Strong shields and ample healing
- Burst rotation to shatter and punish openings
