How to Get Bladedancer‘s Aspect in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 offers players an immense, vividly realized demon-hunting playground. As you battle the hordes of hell across blood-soaked battlefields, gathering powerful weapons and armor is key to survival.

One particularly deadly ability is known as Bladedancer‘s Aspect. When unlocked, you can impale and shred enemies in a whirling storm of knives with unique orbiting blade effects.

But the path to obtaining Bladedancer‘s Aspect is perilous. In this guide, I‘ll walk you through the steps to add this killer ability to your arsenal.

Overview of Bladedancer‘s Aspect

Bladedancer‘s Aspect modifies the Rogue‘s Twisting Blades skill. After the knives return from being thrown, they spin rapidly around you for a short time, slashing nearby foes for additional damage.

The orbit damage scales up depending on how far away the blades were when they returned. So by retrieving them from maximum range, you can boost the carnage.

You can imprint Bladedancer‘s Aspect on various gear slots like Amulets, Gloves, Rings, and One-Handed or Two-Handed Weapons. This adds a fun, aggressive edge to numerous builds.

I‘d recommend obtaining it early since the extra return damage pairs nicely with other bleed, weapon technique, or critical strike bonuses that become available later on.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow these steps to get Bladedancer‘s Aspect:

  1. Progress through the main story quests until you unlock "The Knife Twists Again: Stemming the Flow" in the Scosglen region. This becomes available around level 35.

  2. Complete the quest by sealing 3 blood wells to prevent demons from entering the mortal realm. The locations are marked on your map.

  3. Travel to the dungeon entrance northeast of the Fiorban Waypoint in Scosglen. This is Jalal‘s Vigil, an abandoned ruin area.

  4. Battle through Jalal‘s Vigil, defeating the cultists, torture instruments, and any emerging bosses. Grab the lore items but don‘t worry about full clears yet.

  5. Defeat the dungeon‘s main boss, Exsanguinator. He‘s a large unique enemy that appears after interacting with the final relic. Dodge his claw attacks!

  6. Open the reward chest after Exsanguinator dies to obtain Bladedancer‘s Aspect!

Tips and Analysis

Jalal‘s Vigil has some tricky layouts and lethal spike traps, so take it slow until you learn the routes. Bring health and resistance potions since poison is common.

You can rerun the dungeon at higher difficulties later to get better versions of the Aspect. But normal mode is all you need for the initial drop.

Experiment with distance on the blade throws before they return – the further away, the more punishing the orbit damage becomes thanks to this ability‘s scaling.

Overall, Bladedancer‘s Aspect noticeably increases AoE clear speed and single target options. The damage stacks up quickly against tankier elites and bosses. It‘s a must-have for pure melee or hybrid Rogue builds.

So equip your Aspect as soon as you can and unleash a whirlwind of vindictive steel upon the Helliquary‘s forces! Let me know in the comments if you have any other Diablo 4 questions.
